Morrison (1943-1971) was a singer-songwriter and lead vocalist for the group The Doors, which produced the #1 hit "Light My Fire." A pop culture icon, he perfectly represents the youth counterculture of the Sixties. He is ranked 47th on Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Singers of All Time list, and is widely considered one of the most influential singers in rock music. He was also a famous womanizer. He was found dead in a Paris apartment at the age of 27. The cause of death remains in question.
