Beautiful...
If you want to take the clocks off the wall, after you rez the item with the rezzer you just click on edit for clock and drag and move it off the wall. They you delete that wall, not de-rezz, and then delete the rezzer box on the floor. From there you can save each clock to your inventory, edit it how you like and wallah. It's a great item, and the textures are beautiful. Top quality. A+++
Great clocks!
These are much more detailed than I expected.
Moreover, you can resize them as needed... it is not difficult in the 2022 version. For 8+ varieties, $399 is not a bad value at all.
Very detailed models - with a few tricky obstacles
Beautiful wall clocks, with very good details. Different time zone settings, as well as daylight saving time, and (for those who like to garble their ambience) an optional hover text.
However there are a few 'flaws' which may drive any unexperienced resident ('the plain consumer' as I call him/her) into depression:
- the clocks are WAY TOO BIG. If you do not know the trick with "edit linked", you may never bring them to the size which is really suitable for a room (I suppose they were not meant for a church tower? *winks*) - simply because you cannot shrink the hands enough together with the whole build, they block the resizing at a rather large scale. Workaround: 'edit linked' the clock, mark the individual hands (on after the other) and increase their "thickness" slightly. This will afterwards allow to shrink your whole model even more, to a reasonable size.
- the "rez faux" is unnecessarily complicated. Who needs all the clocks together? Just put them as individuals into the folder, you need to move and turn, and to resize (see above!) them anyway.
- Finally: although the menu is rather self explaining, I would expect a user manual. Especially since the 'edit linked' trick is the only possible way (or is there any resizer script preset? I don't know. Also this should be mentioned in a manual) to get your wall clock to the desired size.
But OK, once you have overcome the obstacles, it looks simply great and also important: it works. Therefore: 5 stars.
