Kindragon Designs presents Bento-rigged dragon tails featuring three different thicknesses and lengths for a total of 9 tail thickness/length variations.
Easy to modify with custom textures or use the base textures and just alter the colors as desired. The two-texture layered design allows one to easily and quickly set two different colors for the tail to match your avatar's color pattern.
A free, full perm, tail animation HUD comes with the package so you can easily switch between three tail positions with 3 different movement speeds.
The HUD also allows one to easily set a position and angle for the tail attachment, so it can easily be adjusted to fit standard or most mesh avatar bases.

This is the tail SL needs AND deserves.
I don't know HOW there wasn't a plain ol tail reminiscent of the basic flexi prim tail right out the gate as soon as bento was available. Then this tail came along.
It's more than great, it's fantastic. The best tail you'll ever wear.
It comes with a nifty little hud that lets you pick 3 positions for your tail, curled up high, mid, and curled low. If that wasn't enough, each position comes in 3 speeds, and they're not just different speeds, they are actually animated like the speed gives weight to the tail.
If THAT wasn't enough to sell you on this tail, the hud also has 6 arrows to allow you to adjust the position of your tail, so you more than likely wont be stuck with a buttplug of a tail (unless you want that).
Seriously, buy this tail, it works with pretty much the same textures used for flexi prim tails.
I love this tail
My god where do I begin!
I was looking for a great tail to use for my fursona, something not too thick but not too thin. The fact that this comes in varying girths AS WELL AS varying lengths of short, medium, and long is just brilliant.
The ability to shift the base of the tail around on my backside using the HUD is very useful, especially for fitting the tail perfectly to where my tailbone is supposed to be!
Oh, and the inclusion of different layers for things like scutes or alphas is great too, useful for those with a 'plated' undertail (hah!) look.
And the animations! While I definitely look forward to seeing if there will be more animations added later, as it stands right now the 3 that are available (curved down and back, straight out, and lifted) are very nice.
Adding 3 different speeds to the wagging, however, is the best feature for these animations. I can do a slow, methodical wag, or a happy whipping from side to side! It really adds personality.
Overall, I am going to recommend this to every one of my friends that're looking for that special bento dragon/lizard/dinosaur/etc tail!
Oh, and, uh, totally let me know when there's an update. Because. You know. *makes grabby claws!* ^. .^
Great work!
Think of these are more of a... step in the right direction; needs work with animations (three only for now,) but the maker plans to include more than just three (technically nine, cause there's different speeds,) wag options. The HUD also doesn't hide (yet.) I would also prefer a less obvious sway, something that maybe plays the animations randomly to give it the impression the tail isn't perpetually happy? That's so far been my biggest annoyance with bento, everyone uses the same animation for everything, when in reality, you wouldn't be constantly wagging your tail. heh
The fact I can move the tail around on my body using the HUD (either sliding it up or down or futher/closer to the body) is super appreciated, as rigging makes it impossible to do otherwise. The tail actually has two faces; one for the base and the other for the scutes, which can be utilized in various ways. In this instance, I gave it a transparent scale like texture, and used it for my rat tail. :D
The maker claims to be wanting to do various tails, which I hope for; current ones are very lacking, minus the MOR tail and that can't be used for everything.
