The Mashenka head is a fitted mesh head. Fitted mesh means in this case that the head and neck size can be changed in several dimensions (width, depth a.s.o) the general shape and features of the face cannot be changed though. The head has 12 expressions which can be controlled with an emotes HUD using automatic or manual modes as well as with gestures. 5 skin tones with 2 eyebrow options each, 4 hair base tones and a 2 lashes option are included in an applier HUD. The neck joint has a standard S size and should fit fine with standard avatars as well as with the *KL* Lena body line. The Head is also compatible with Lena appliers.
Since including a head texture to lena skin appliers is optional to foreign designers its a good idea to ask them if their skin appliers include the head textures before you buy that applier.

I Like This A Lot
I am very pleased with this mesh head and all the features that it has. I think the neck seam could use some work but that is something that not one single creator has yet mastered and the future always holds promise for possible updates so if any improvements are made I would be happy to see them in an updated version. Still, it is a great design and in-world looks way better than pictured in the ad. The expressions are nice - maybe a tad understated but that can be a good thing depending on the scenario. Five thumbs-up!

Lovely head, love the auto emoting, keeps the face looking alive. I was able to match it to my Maitreya mesh body and with the ability to change the skin tone (THANK YOU!) I was able to match that too since Maitreya also give the ability to tint. Between these two creators who give skin tint options, I finally have a hybrid avatar that is matched. Also I love that this head is natural in shape and style and not homogenized into a teen fashion head. Would love to see some lipstick appliers, as red is so nice with evening and cocktail clothing. Excellent head
As the title says, I think this head is excellent. It’s far cheaper than other head appliers and looks great. It’s also animated and has some really nice and subtle expressions. As your first head, you’ve done an amazing job Babette. It would be even more amazing if you were able to make it customisable as the last reviewer suggested. I think you’d have a best seller on your hands then, like the Lena lush body, which is also amazing.

I was going to rate this 4 stars as I feel there may be some things that can be added to make it perfect, but honestly, it's close enough that we can just call it 5 stars.
This head works great with the Lena Lush and Lena Perky bodies. Using the provided textures, the seam blends well between the neck and body. It looks good with the default SL type of eyes, but I added some mesh eyes. It takes a bit of tweaking to get them to sit right, but that's not an issue of this head.
The included expressions are done well, though some are maybe a little bit *too* subtle. No complaints overall though. I didn't notice what the "auto expression" setting did. I did not seem to have any expressions outside of "neutral" when I was set to auto.
My wish list is as follows for KL: more expressions (or even better, a complete AO for the lena body plus head that includes expressions - pleeeease!), some higher resolution body/head skins (the default nipple texture seems very soft and undefined), a hair pack or a recommendation on what hairs you use in the demo pictures, the ability to close eyes and have them remain closed (for sleeping, unconscious, relaxing, or meditating type animations), and finally - the ability to modify the face shape slightly using the sliders like you can for the bodies.
