It's a demo of a big orc.
See item in Second LifeWorth The Buy
The demo version does not do the full version justice.
In the Demo, the thigh and hip area will be invisible.
The full version provides a full nude version.
It is very modifiable and you can work it to your liking.
But also remember, it is just a beta. It won't be perfect.
(BETA Demo Review) Acceptable, has potential, but not for me -- Yet.
NOTE: BETA Review
There's not nearly enough orcs represented in SL, so looking for something to replace the obsolete prim-based "Orcus" by 6ixth Sense (now Niramyth) is something I've been wanting for a long time. Since this isn't a final product (going by the "Beta"), this review is more current observations and suggestions before final release.
First, in regards to shape editing. I'm not too familiar with the limitations of fitted mesh, but I tweaked the shape a bit to see what can be changed in its current iteration. A few expected sliders, like limb length and hips, worked. Hand size also worked, but foot size did not -- which is unfortunate, as the feet seem oddly small to me. The head seems a little too "squashed and stretched" (along the Z axis when I Edit), giving it a disproportionate look that the sliders were unable to remedy. Height is ~9' tall.
Next, regarding texture and overall appearance. Bearing in mind that tastes of what an orc should look like vary widely, this is mostly where the "not for me" falls in. The squashed head above was one problem, but I found the goblinesque nose and half-missing tusks not to my liking. Finger- and toenails look rough, but guessing the mod-able copy could be fixed. Ankle has a seam, and pants have see-through bottom. The body texture itself seems okay, but the demo is LOW-res. I'm unsure whether the paid version has a higher-res texture, as there's no information besides "It's a big orc" as of this writing. I would encourage skin recolors. Mesh had a good poly count.
Another reviewer mentioned the pants and gloves not being removable, and a close look reveals that there is underlying mesh for hands, but not for thighs. If it doesn't exist, I would encourage the artist to have a full underlying mesh body and various clothing options (incl. Modern clothes!)
This mesh has potential, and I really want to like it, but so far Elder Scrolls Online has my orc appearance of choice.
Pretty great!
Looks amazing, though it seems the pants and gloves are not removable, which is the only thing that keeps me from buying the actual avatar.
(It is of course a no-mod demo, but there doesn't seem to be anything under it so removing them in the non-demo would probably result into emptiness)
