Katie Bell is a Hogwarts student from Gryffindor House, who is one year older than Harry Potter in the novel (NB: in movies she's the same year as Harry Potter).
She is the chaser of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and is very friendly with Angelina Johnson and Alicia Spinnet. She will later become captain of the team, when Olivier Dubois will have finished his schooling. She participates in the Battle of Hogwarts.
