This Pack includes:
-4 Full-Perm Kheph's Pose Balls 3.0:
You can add your own Animation or Pose to all four of them. If you do not add an animation, two of them will default to a Sit Pose, and two of them to a Stand Pose. Each pair of Pose Balls comes in Forced Mouselook and No Mouselook versions.
Each Pose Ball has its own configuration Notecard that will allow you to change the hovertext over the Ball, the "sit text" displayed when you right-click the Ball and the position of the Avatar sitting on the Ball.
Kheph's Pose Balls 3.0 are full perm, so you can add them your own objects to trade or sell.
-4 Metamover Tour Pose Balls 3.0:
These pose balls have all the same functions and features as Kheph's Pose Balls, except they are scripted specifically to work with the Metamover Tour REZZER.
Because the Metamover system is no-trans, so are these Metamover Tour Pose Balls. However, they remain Copy-Mod, so you may use them with all of your existing Metamover Tour systems.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Rez out the Pose Ball of your choice. Balls labled "Sit" will default to a sitting position, and those labled "Stand" will default to a standing position. However, you may add any pose or animation you wish to the Pose Ball's Contents, and it will recognize and play the new one.
2) RIght-Click the Ball and choose "Edit". Then, in the Edit Window, set the the Ruler Mode to "Local." Now position the Sit Ball where you will want it on your vehcile. Note which way the red position arrow is pointing, as this is the FRONT of the Sit Ball. Make sure to rotate it so the red arrow points in the direction you want the Avatar to face when sitting or standing.
3) If you use your own pose or animation, you will likely need to change the positioning. To do this, look in the Contents of the Pose ball (where you dropped the animation), and double-click on the CONFIGURATION Notecard. Inside you will see an "offset" - which is an X, Y, Z vector telling the AV where to position itself in relation to the Pose Ball. Here is how it works:
You will see something like this: <0, 0, 0.8>
These three numbers are <X, Y, Z> :
X = meters forward and back
Y = meters side to side
Z = meters up and down
-If you set a positive number in the X position, the AV will sit farther forward. A negative number in the X position will slide the Avatar further back.
-A positive or negative number in the Y position will slide the AV to one side or the other.
-A positive number in the Z position will move the AV upward, and a negative number in the Z position will slide the AV downward.
4) You can also set the Hover Text, and Sit Text to anything you want in the same Notecard. When you are done making changes, save the Notecard and close it. That's it! :)
5) Once your Pose Ball is positioned and configured how you like it, link it to your vehicle. Make sure you have the Pose Ball selected FIRST, and THEN select the vehicle. The Pose Ball should NOT be the root prim of the linked object!
Regardless of which kind of Pose Ball you are using, you may add as many of them as you wish onto your Vehicle.
Enjoy!
