For faeries who like their wings a little more "worn", this design features tattered edges and holes with a beautiful iridescent shine and delicate transparency. They are scripted to flap and open or close into position. A completely original design that was inspired by the classic movie "The Dark Crystal". More insect-like than the butterfly style that most wings have, these should satisfy even the darkest of Fae. These wings are modifiable and therefore tintable. They would even work well as unisex wings.

I am extremely picky about Faerie wings and was thrilled when I came across these. No fuss no muss simple and easy to use. These are gorgeous all by themselves. I know you can change the colors on these somehow but I'm not adept at doing that nor would I, I mean look at them. Hand painted...beautiful. Reminiscent of Kira's wings from the Dark Crystal if you don't know that movie please go watch it. Best line of the whole movie comes right out of her mouth.

Love them!
I prefer beetle or insect-like wings for my fae, and so when I found these, I had to try them out. I do love them; the hand-painted textures are lovely, and you can tint the wings to whatever colour that you want (though tinting them removes the pretty variation of colours the artist has put in originally). My only issue with them is that the flap animation isn't continuous (or at least it isn't for me - I'm not sure if it's just me!), and stops after a few seconds. They are beautiful wings for posing, too! <3

Beautiful wing, but the scripting could be improved
The painting of the wings would deserve 5 stars, but as the scripting is worth hardly 2 stars, it´s 3 stars in the end - due to the price. However, they are nice for "posing" and worth the lindens.
