This demo is a Teleri 1.0a, which differs from the Teleri 2 mostly in cosmetic details. This demo will perform the same as a Teleri 2, except for a few minor modifications to the engine. Also. the Teleri 2 is 28 LI.
The Ktaba 20 Teleri is inspired by the racing sloops of the early 20th century that dominated the eastern seaboard of the US, with sleek, graceful lines, long overhangs, and a 3/4 fractional Bermudian rig. The IOD class was developed as a standard "racing class" that would allow boats of different designers to be raced against each other, hence the name "one design". Because of their long overhangs, an IOD's waterline increases by about 50% when she heels over, thus increasing the hull speed, and racing performance. Some of the most famous and treasured sailboats from the golden age of sailing are IOD yachts, and many were built by the most famous yacht builders and designers - Herreshoff, Shields, Sparkman and Stephens, Alden, Luders, and Borresen, for a short list. The K20 Teleri MX is powered by both the WWC sailing system, and the B-wind sailing engine, modified tastefully by an expert scripter-sailor to closely mimic the behavior of a real racing sloop. She carries a skipper and two crew members, and features a low-lag, low-prim design that includes:

* sculpted main, jib, and spinnaker

Feature-for-feature, the K20 Teleri stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the finest racing yachts in SL. A customized Teleri drew the highest bid at the 2012 Sail4Life auction - $58,580L! This is a fully-functional demo model.

Great demo
I appreciate a boat demo that doesn't time out after 5 minutes. This gave me enough time to get familiar with this boat. One of the few "real" sailboats in SL. You're not a real SL sailor until you can sail boats from this maker.

Just got this demo this morning, and I'm sooo happy with it. Sailing for two years now in SL, but never felt as exited as now just how the boat moves even when standing still. Well, it never stands still driven by the wind and waves, my whole body reacts exitedly, amazing. Sorry for being overwhelmed :). First time with WWC wind it's easy to handle, and feels so realistic, just great. Thanks alot.

I counted 21 prims with Land impact at 49. Now thats the demo not the full version, so millage may vary, what ever that may mean. For what it's worth I have seen other very well made boats with more.
Apart from that a very fine craft indeed.It is only with hesitation that i give it 4 instead of 5 stars.
Clearly a lot of thought experience an labor went into the making of this vessel.
She sways in the wind and on the waves like you would expect from a RL one. You may wing the jib or raise a spinnaker, if you have crew aboard they are in charge of managing those, truly a nice touch. the sailing behavior is truly nice. She even has a tendency to move into the wind if you just lower the sails instead of moor her.
Personally I don't like to sail by colors so an option to hide the on board HUD would be preferable. There is water sloshing down around the floorboards, and the wind vane could be more visible. It must have been an afterthought since we are expected to take the cues from the HUD coloring. The fluttering on the sail is only a marginal indication of setting. From what else I have seen in SL boats tell tales could be added.
But over all a fabulous craft and well worth the purchasing price of the full version.

prim count is 49 and not 25!
Reason to not buy the non demo version for me.
Seller should change the information to prevent disappointment.
Not all people have big parcels with huge primcounts to spend.
