This screaming spectre will make your visitors wee their pants! It rushes at them physically while glowing, waving its arms, and streaming ghostly smoke!

A perfect monster for your Haunted House. Happy Halloween! :D

HOW TO USE:

1.) Turn on "View Transparent" in your viewer. This is usually achieved by pressing the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Alt+T. You MUST View Transparent to see this item! It is 100% transparent, meaning invisible.

2.) Drag the item from your inventory to the area where you want to place it. It will appear as two RED rectangles, spaced about 10m apart, if you have turned on "View Transparent."

3.) The LOWER rectangle is the trigger. Place it where you want people to trigger the ghost (such as an entrance or hallway). They will trigger it by physically colliding--ie, walking into it.

4.) The other rectangle is the ghost. It will appear when people walk into the trigger, as noted above. In between triggers, it is 100% dormant, with even the animated textures turned off. This makes it nearly lag-free.

5.) (OPTIONAL, advanced users only!) If you wish for the ghost to appear from a different position, you can manually adjust it. First, take a backup copy. Then "Edit linked," select only the ghost prim, and move it to your desired position. Then you must *RESET SCRIPTS* in the entire linkset. They will adjust for the new placement automatically.

You are done!

Test it by colliding with the trigger. Remember, it will only trigger once every 30 seconds.

I intentionally scripted it so the ghost will only trigger once, even if someone collides with it numerous times. Because that would look super stupid, for the ghost to come out over and over again! So I fixed it. Now it's more scary.. :)
