Just rez the box after you have opened the main parcel and place it on the ground with the arrow facing the way you want it to rez and from the drop down menu that appears click 'rez'...then when you are happy, click 'save' and the box will disappear leaving behind your scene. Now you can modify it if you choose. If you make a mistake, rez another.
