The cool startup/climbing-into-the-cockpit animation alone is worth 5 stars =)
With this package you really get a buttload of stuff. The plane in multiple colors, as static version, a hangar, and some cool decoration items.
The jet it self is extremly fun to fly. Its very acrobatic. When you lower the engine power beyond a certain threshold, the jet will slowly descend - great for landings. Its looks good, is technically well made and crosses sim borders pretty good.
A small point; what i would like to see is control over the lights. Right now they go on when you start the plane. But that is nitpicking.
Considering what you get for the price tag, this product easily deserves 5 starts.
An Amazingly Maneuverable High Speed Aircraft
I don't have enough time or space here to adequately express what a terrific, highly maneuverable aircraft this plane is.
When I fly aerobatics, I prefer to stay within a single sim. This usually limits my flying speed. This plane is miraculous in that you can effortlessly make very sharp yet smooth turns at over 100m/s very easily. I don't know how the builder has managed to do this but this is the only SL plane I have flown that can. From this plane's SL lineage, needless to say, it is one of the best aerobatic aircraft in SL. In my opinion, no plane in SL can be truly called an aerobatic plane without a working rudder like this plane and it's sister TBM planes have.
The smoke system was also a pleasant surprise. Typically on other projects the creator of this plane has been involved with, using the "i" key turns the excellent center white smoke trail on and off so I was very surprised when I hit the "i" key again to turn it off only to discover that this turns off the central stream and turns on wing tip red and blue smoke streams, and when I hit the "i" key again I laughed as the central white stream turned on to join the red and blue wing tip streams. It is quite a display for an aerobatic plane. (The 4th click of the "i" key turns off all smoke.)
If you have flown the TBM F-16's you will be happy to learn that the size of the HUD on this plane has been drastically reduced and I believe it is resizeable.
Because this plane has three flight modes from smooth easily handled "cruise" mode to "extreme hardcore" mode, it is suitable for the beginning SL Pilot to the most skilled aerobatic pilots in SL.
Considering all that is included in this set and it's outstanding flight characteristics, it's price is more than reasonable.
If you enjoy flying in SL, don't even think about it. Just buy this plane. For the price of a movie, popcorn and a coke you will receive endless hours of fun, joy, and entertainment value.

I'm in love!
I bought this last night, and I am completely fascinated with this sexy plane. The quality of the work, the features, the attention to detail, and the products included in the box are all top notch! Unlike most of the SL aircraft I've flown, this one leaves me smiling and wanting to fly more. Fantastic work that is well worth the price!
