Good, but mod challanges
The tail is modern animated mesh. I didn't find any issues with the attachment point on ebody.
There no animations out of the box, but they do give you a link to a free hud. The horse and squirl animations worked without major clipping issues on ebody. But you may end up wanting to hunt for a better tail animations.
It does not appear to have PBR out of the box.
It is MOD enabled, and you can set PBR, and or Blinn-Phone which is convenient.
Or drop in a 3rd party PBR or Blinn-Phone script.
But i'm not sure what I would use to apply PRB to this tail..
There is only on face for the tail. Which means you can't tint the tail one color, and the tail hair another color.
The tail cuff is a seperate attachment, but it's also one face for cuffs, spikes, chains, pericings. So you can't say set the 100% transperency to hide the chain, spikes, and or pericings. There is a seperate face for the percings at the base of the tail. so you can at least choose. I would have perfered one object with multiple prims and faces to make it more mod friendly.
The default texture is not tint friendly to tinting. It's a gray base, which means you can't do white tail with the default texture. Similary the tail tuff is the same face. So you can't say do tint brown hair while tinting the base tial brown. They also include an all white texture. Which might work if you only need one color.. They do include a link to PSD files. Which is great. But for must mods, it's going to be a must to try and get your hair color, and try matching it to your hair. The PDF is one layer, so setting your body color, and hair color requires a basic painting, and layering skills in an image editor.
Awesome Tail
An awesome tail that swings majestically in the breeze. It's perfect for little demons or big cats.
Perfect!
I'd been looking for something like this for a while, and I'm SO happy to have found this! You'll need a tail animator for it, but most work perfectly with it! Would absolutely recommend this~ Worked beautifully for my Zebra girl!
Perfect!
This tail is weighted VERY well. I've tested it with various animators people have made and it moves smoothly with no jagged pieces at all. Lovely work.
