-Lamu Fashion-Gown *The Woman in Gold* by Gustav Klimt

I am a huge fan of the painting that this dress was inspired by! I think it is extraordinarily beautiful and it has an interesting history! I remember following the Republic of Austria vs. Maria Altmann court case that concerned this painting as well as several others that were confiscated by the Nazis and wound up in the Austrian State Gallery until Altmann won the court case and reclaimed them. It was a very interesting case and I always wondered how the lady in the painting felt, all dolled up in her gold gown and heavy sparkling jewels. Now I can find out for myself! The gown is gorgeous, I love the extra flexi part on the back, I think that mesh gowns ought to utilize flexi prims somewhat because they do add that extra touch of realistic movement to a dress. The textures are very well done! I love this dress and now I need to look through this shop for more items! Thank you so much!
