Square edges issue but its ok
Sadly the square edges annoy me a little, its very hard to design a seamless terrain. But i think this is designed because its hard to make seamless mesh work with each other properly on all edges. So for what it does its ok, you can put the landforms to sink or squish them together and the seam might go away.
If you want to cheat you can try to use pbr stuff on it, and it works sort of, so it doesn't mean you have to just use it for snow. It works nice for sandy terrains too.
For a 32 x 32 area or 64, it'll do as intended.
Nice but---
It would be great if a flat flat one was provided, in case one lives in a flat flat parcel, the gentle slopes show through my home's floor and no I can't move my home.
Does not have "good physics" as advertised
I only reviewed the Hill piece and was very disappointed in what's considered "good physics". As you walk around the Hill piece, you range from floating almost .5 meters above the land to being knee deep below the land. Nice forms, but useless if you plan to walk on them.
Alex To The Rescue!
I have always loved Alex's creations! I've never purchased one that I was less than absolutely thrilled with. I hadn't purchased this set until my sim owner decided we should have summer....in a New England themed sim, on January 5th! Seriously....everyone who lives in a northern clime knows winter lasts until May and sometimes June ;) Thank you Alex. Very, very happy!!!
