Version 5.3 released on January 13, 2025.
It includes looped animation for searching horizon( wear included binoculars), my looped operator animation made just for this boat, cruise control, new sounds, and a selection of five operator views.
There are a total of eight animated operator animations. They include hand steering the outboard while looking ahead, plus fishing, knees up sitting in stern seat, day dream sitting in stern seat, treading water near boat, back flip dive into water, and playful water swim animations. The most recent addition is standing to look forward scanning horizon with binoculars. Be sure to wear the included binoculars.
You can take two passengers who can fish, tread water, dive, and swim near the canoe. Select poses anytime from menu and adjust using AV Sitter menu.
You and passengers can grab a fishing pole anytime by touching fishing kit near the middle seat. If you own one of the popular fishing games you can fish using the boat's fishing animation or any of the other animations on boat too.
Passengers have five animations: sitting on cushion, fishing, treading water, diving, and swimming in nearby water.
Boat is 4 meters by 1.5 meters. This is very realistic scale, but if desired you can also rescale boat with blue rescale menu.
There are eight speeds selected with page up and down keys. They range from 2 to 16 on SL speed scale giving good range speeds from leisurely to zippy. Each time you change speeds you will see a private chat message telling you which of the speeds you have selected. Steer the boat using the viewer motion controls or your keyboard direction arrows.
Activate cruise control and your selected speed by keying "hold" or "release" in chat. You will see confirmation message when you hold or release this control.
Please note that now you can use public chat or /3 private chat for all chat control commands.
Steer boat with the direction keys or on screen motion arrows. Outboard motor will turn in with motion arrows and return to center when you select forward or reverse.
When you sit to drive you will hear an outboard start sound that changes quickly to idle sound. You will also notice there is an idle exhaust into water just above the propeller.
When you move in water the motor sound changes to motor board underway sound and you will see a white stream of propeller turbulence follow and turn with boat. Propeller only spins when you are underway of course.
You can stop motor if you wish to quietly fish or relax somewhere. Key "stop" or " start" to resume your voyage.
For additional fun you can take a happy puppy along for the ride too. Just touch to make it appear or disappear depending on your plans. Key "b" or "puppy" or "bark" in open chat or channel 3 for it to bark.
Likewise, key "beep" in chat to send command to boat for "Beep Beep" horn sound when needed.
Touch cooler and it will give a cola to drink. Drinking animation works along with the other animations in the boat.
But wait! There's something totally unexpected.
At times a pesky sea otter will suddenly appear standing on the side of the boat. It will clutch a sea bass and gobble it down quickly, making classic satisfied otter eating sounds. The critter quickly disappears after eating the fish, This clever otter is always lurking and waiting for an opportunity to appear and steal a fish from you. I am sure you will figure out what causes it to appear (hint... the "otter" is very shy does not like being chatted about).
Your first view as you sit to operate is at 7.5 meters behind at an angle of 30 degrees down to give you a calm and complete perspective on the canoe and the surroundings. Then can also use chat to select among five different views as desired: "v1" behind boat, "v2" just behind operator, "v3" operator view, "v4" center of boat, and "v5" above and behind boat.
The boat has a land weight of 23 and all the mesh physics have been appropriately adjusted.
Oh, yes, this pretty little boat comes in a choice of TEN colors!
Anytime you want to change the color just use to say color name from this list of ten. They are: white, red, blue, yellow, orange, green, teal, olive, purple, and navy.

All I can say is that this boat is the best small boat that I have owned to date. It is easy to just sit and drive off. I love the multi level speeds and control of view and movement is so effortless and the animations are wonderful too! I enjoyed it so much that I bought one one for a friend. All I can say is buy it and you too will love it.
