Lean on wall
---------------------

Avoid disappointment, read carefully and see item inworld before buying!

*ABOUT THE OBJECT:
What looks like a carelessly thrown away crumpled piece of paper is actually stuffed with animations that will allow you to lean or sit against a wall.

*ABOUT ME:
I am a Dutch woman obsessed with history, in RL I am a researcher.
Europe in the first half of the 20th century inspires me.
The objects I create are especially made for The 1920s Berlin Project sim where many of the tenants often have to live in small houses and bad neighbourhoods.

*SCALE:
I make things according to Prim Scale, a prim cube is 50cm x 50cm x 50cm.
Many avatars and Sims in SL have a totally unrealistic scale but more and more sims and shops are now using Prim Scale.
That means that the objects I make are made for realistic scaled avatars, if they seem too small to you, this probably is because you are rather big.
However, you can make my items bigger and adjust the animations to fit any size of avatar.

*INSTRUCTIONS
-Rezz the item by dragging it from your inventory onto the floor.
-Right click and select 'edit' to move it or rotate into the desired position.
-Use this same window to change the size by selecting stretch.
-Position the item near a wall.
-Left click or Right click and choose "sit here" to use the object.
-Click the object to get a blue menu if you want to change your animation.
-Say 1/a to adjust your position, you can move your avatar to a different spot, the object will remember your preferences.

*CHANGING THE OBJECT
-Because this is a mesh object you can easily change it.
-First make sure you keep at least one copy of the original, just in case you break it.
-Drag a texture from your inventory onto part of the object to change it, they come with custom made textures that fit perfectly, so be prepared to accept that it might not look as good as the original.
-If you change the size, the land impact may go up.
-You can put your personal favourite settings in the notecard inside the bed so you never had to adjust the animations again, but this may be a bit tricky.

*ABOUT MESH
If you make Mesh items bigger, they will usually start having a bigger land impact.
The item should look good but from a certain distance it may look distorted.
To make sure you see mesh in SL at well as possible, you may need to change the settings of your viewer.
This generally isn't needed but if you think that mesh distorts too often, you may try this;
-Set your LOD setting to 4, this should not have a huge impact on lag.
-LOD settings can be changed in the graphics settings.
Another thing you can do is this;
-Click ctrl+D to add the 'advanced' tab to the options at the top of your screen.
-Click 'show debug settings'
-In the Debug Settings look for 'MeshMaxConcurrentRequests' and increase the value, some people say you shouldn't go higher then 60 but I've set mine to 128 and have not noticed SL getting any worse.
Remember that playing around with debug settings is done at your own risk.
-Sometimes you can make the land impact go down by linking mesh with prims or other mesh items, but sometimes the land impact could go up.

Great animation!

This animation is PERFECT for my poor, homeless street urchin kid. Sitting on a mat of old cardboard and brooding over his plight during the Depression era of America, this animation fits right in. I have my own mat that i "wear" to sit on in no-rezz areas, and then I just play the animation that I want from this package and it works out great. I have a child avatar, so I have to adjust the hover height a bit to get him to sit just right on the ground, so keep that in mind if you use the animations by themselves.
