Leo Tail V5 (Bento Support)

The animations are ok (Limited options and very fast), the rigging is nice, but its LONG! If your avatar is anywhere near five foot, this will be almost longer that your whole body. I use this one the alt, removed the animations and scripts, and added ones from a tail i liked the animations on. Its a good product, but i wouldn't call it great. I wish that, like other bento tails, it had more than one size. I tried to ask the maker about this, never for a response.

(1st off look at vid in description) Ok so I was a little cautious about getting it since there was no demo but I said wth and got it. Happy I did for a Bento tail of this detail for that price very much worth the L$. The tail's movement may seem fast to most but there are more calm slower settings under Idle I mean it moves like an active lions tail like youtube it I did XD. Yes, there could be slower animations but its bento and if you own any other tails I'm sure can use ao from them or something {untested}.As for retexturing with my viewer as soon as I click any item im wearing the tail freezes because its an animation not a stand alone like scripted tail, or just rez it =D Over ALL its worth it so yea grab it if you want a good looking lion tail. hope to see more animation settings for those calmer kitties & Smaller sizes so I can use with different sized avis.

So I own the previous version of this tail, the non-bento. And I really LOVE it. It's great, it can be small, but I prefer bento over the old stuff of course. So I bought this tail but the issues I have with it are;

1. The animations are WAY too fast. I'd probably smack everyone near me with these.
2. The tail is very very long, and looks like it was made only for taller avatars to use. Not small ones. Like I was making an Elin avatar to use it with but I'm so small and the tail goes through the ground and is also longer than my avatar's height.
3. The tip of the tail is VERY big. Bigger than my avatar's head, unlike the previous tail which the tip is quite slender and less likely to represent a medieval flail or a mace.

This tail is great for larger avatars and with a different tail AO.

Its very smooth animation and that lovely but I can't add my own tail texture to it was hoping I could but wishful thinking aside I was also hoping to reshape the edge to give it a spade are sharp look stead of the puff ball look it has overall its okay but I can't use it for my own avi without the texture I need

The fur at the base of the tail is linked to the tail tip therefore it cannot be tinted its own color. I should have known this when I saw the tint example in the preview image but I guess I was wishful thinking ^^" I was hoping to remove the fur at the base so that the tail would blend more evenly with my avatar instead of looking like a costume piece. It's not bad at all, mind you, the tail is fantastic and so are the animations, it's well worth the money, but I feel that it could use the option of removing that base fur - it's a good look for nekos but it doesn't look very natural on full blooded furries. Other than that, I'm very happy with my purchase but I would love to see it updated to resolve this issue :)
