The patient's going into cardiac arrest! Call a code and bring the crash cart!
This monitor/defibrillator is modeled on the LifePak series commonly used in modern emergency rooms and ORs from the 1990s on. The menu allows you to select the patient's heart rhythm (or, if you set a patient, for them to remotely control the display via the Mercy patient HUD), select a charge, and administer the shock (complete with sound). The screen can display six different rhythms and appropriate heart rates: normal sinus, tachycardia, bradycardia, ventricular fibrillation (v-fib), PEA (pulseless electrical activity) and asystole (flatline).
The unit also gives wearable defibrillator paddles (unique to this piece) and EKG electrodes. Like the other Mercy defibrillators, use of the patient HUD isn't required, but adds a few extras like the ability to have the HUD randomly decide your response to defibrillation.
This piece makes an excellent and interactive addition to any emergency room, operating room, intensive care unit, or other medical facility. The box also includes a low-prim version (4 pieces) with the same script and animated display.
This equipment is compatible with the Mercy patient HUD v5. Previous versions will not work with this equipment.
