Lighting System Version 1.1.0

Lighting System is a set of scripts that allow you to set up switches to turn your home lights on and off.

## The lamp script

Setup a light bulb or use a projector texture (included) to setup a directional lamp (projectors require advanced lighting model enabled).

You can use any object for a lamp: a prim or your own mesh.

## The switch scripts

Setup a switch to control one or many lamps.

The package includes multiple scripts, some of them are open source which you can use as-is or as base to build your own behaviours.

## Included objects

The package includes mesh objects for demonstration purposes but they are decent enough to use in your home as well.

Also included are the UV layouts of all meshes and they all come with copy modify permissions; all of which allow you to customize the objects to your liking.

### A switch

A fully functional switch that demonstrates a common scenario where the switch has two faces that alternate depending on the switch state.

### A directional lamp

This lamp demonstrates how to use projectors to create a light source that you can direct.
The object has two parts so you can pivot and rotate it to direct the light in any direction.

### A light bulb

Unlike the directional lamp, the bulb doesn't use projectors so it will work without advanced lighting model.

## Use this system on third party lamps

Some lighting products come with open source scripts which sometimes can be adapted to work with this system.

If your lamps don't come with open source scripts it's still possible to use this system using different techniques.

## New in v1.1.0

Added a `Range` setting to the switch to allow flexibility in placing lamps far away from their controlling switch.
It now defaults to 10 meters but can be increased to 20m, 100m and the whole region.
