This is designed to enable pilots to see instruments without taking their eyes off the surroundings. It is fully animated. It contains an artificial horizon, and analogue and digital speedometer, altimeter, vertical speed indicator and compass. The artificial horizon shows angles of pitch and roll.
You can show, hide or resize the HUD. You can set the speedometer to display in knots or metres/sec and the altimeter to display in feet or metres.
Quick start guide:
Add the HUD and it will attach by default to the top position. CAUTION: if you attach to any other position you will have to edit it back into view.
Rez your aircraft and sit in it, then click the SET button to bring up a menu showing all nearby objects, including your aircraft. Click on the menu button for your aircraft to connect the HUD to the aircraft. Zero the altimeter. Select units for speed and altitude. Resize the HUD if needed and choose a suitable camera.

Works well enough
This works pretty well and is definitely a help, but it only goes to +/- 20 degrees so if you are trying to see your orientation while going more vertical, you cannot. So not really helpful for getting you between a space station and ground. If you want something for more straight and level flying, this works though it is a little slow to update, not smooth. Not bad for the price though.
