TIps for editing linked parts and fitting nails of any kind in Second Life:

This particular nail set is an editable linkset, meaning it is possible to edit each nail individually while wearing. I can only make nails to fit my avatar so to custom fit nails to YOUR avatar you must first learn how to edit linked parts, same goes for many clothing items in second life in order to get a custom fit for your avatar's unique shape and size. To do this please follow these simple instructions:

1. Drag the nail setting chair provided to the ground to rez it, then sit on it, it will position your camera angle perfectly so you can easily edit your nails.

2. Right click the nails your are wearing so that they are highlighted

3. Choose edit then in the edit window that pops up, make sure there is a check mark on the edit linked parts box (located on the upper middle left side of the edit window)

4. make sure the move selection is chosen and now click the mouse onto an individual nail, a set of arrows pointing up and down and left and right now appear over your individual nail, drag the arrows across the screen to move the nail to its proper place with the assistance of your camera controls (you can also hold alt on your keyboard while clicking hold and moving mouse around to easily change camera angle)

You can also edit the size and texture settings of each individual nail in this way.

* Please don't forget that nails will only fit your avatar's hands while they are in a relaxed pose, this is the way it is for all nails in Sl whether they are rigged or not due to the avatar skeleton limitations
