The AO comes in a hud that should appear in the upper left corner of your screen. Just Rightclick/wear from your inventory. Everything works automatically, like typing/chatting anim, walking, standing changes, even swimming. You also can wear the MDHU Walking Stick w/AO, instead of wearing the HUD. You will lose some of the extra features that the HUD has, but you can change the notecards by clicking the Walking stick.

There are 3 notecard configurations for the Staff AO.

You can create your own notecard configuration. It is best to create a copy of the notecard by dragging it into your inventory. Then edit the name of the notecard and drag it back into the AO.
Click LOAD (the paper/notecard symbol) to choose a different notecard.

Animations overide your default movement animations automatically. This AO HUD system was created to give the user ultimate control over his/her/? movements in this virtual world.
*Click the Quick play button to play these special anims. These are just for show and include sound. These are located at the very bottom of the HUD using symbols.
You can edit and change these easily by replacing the sound and anims with your own. The sound and animation are inside the button. The script will play whatever sound and anim you put into it.

Great idea, good variation, could have been better :(
The AO itself has a staggering number of options, however, I can't help but feel you pay for the options you don't want or need. This product would be better sold as two separate AOs, one for old guys, one for young. I had purchased it for an old avatar and found there are a few issues that mean I'm thinking twice about using it :(
Firstly, nearly every single standing animation runs me ankle deep into the ground at some point. I'm not sure why, but I'm stood on a flat platform and I just bob down every now and then.
Secondly, for an old man he sure moves around A LOT! If the guy needs a stick to stand I couldn't imagine him spending every second hopping from animation to animation and moving all over the place.
My advice would be if you're looking for the combat/kung fu young guy look then this is great (however I haven't checked out much of those animations yet so they might have the same floor ankle issue). However, if you're getting it for the old guy then look elsewhere.
