In order to use gestures right click and "Activate", then right click and "Open" to view the /trigger command in order to use it through chat. Otherwise highlight the gesture and select "Play" from the inventory.

USEFUL TIP: Navigate to Preferences > Chat > Typing: then check-mark "Enable auto-completion of gestures in nearby chat bar." This will aid with gesture commands.
