An amazing reimagining of a classic SL creature!
I was very surprised and impressed to see this on the MP today. I was not expecting another Crux to show up, let alone one made by the big Crux themselves!
The avatar looks great and is animated beautifully.
Yes, it is very different from the Crux we all are used to, but that's not a bad thing. Evolution happens, and it very much feel like the Crux has evolved into a more deadly creature than it ever has been before.
There are a couple of minor things that I think would be nice to edit/fix/add at some point.
I'll start with what appears to be a bug where the Idle animations will go off when crouching and crouch walking. Just a simple script bug where the idles are not being told to stop when Crouch/Crouchwalk is true.
Another thing that is more personal preference is the size of this creature. It's pretty large. Without editing your shape, it will stand taller than most human avatars when using the tall stance. Using sliders, you can only get as small as about a normal human sized avatar.
I personally think some sort of size mod would be really nice for this avatar, as it has a wonderful base body for other creatures, such as Yinglets. Just the size makes it difficult to pull it off. Having sizes as a separate full price purchase would be acceptable IMO if the creator is indeed open to doing different sizes.
I've also noticed that the animations are inside the body of the avatar rather than the AO, which is a little odd, but I guess doesnt really cause too many problems. If people are to start making body mods for this, it COULD be an issue, but for right now its just something strange that can be ignored at this point likely. Don't worry, I'm not knocking a star for that.
All in all, I think this is a really cool avatar and I'll pick up the full version at some point. Sizes would really help it and there are small bugs, but otherwise I'd say it's def worth purchasing and playing with! Everyone needs a cool monster avatar, so grab this one!
