This object is a 16 face mesh object. When stretched way out, you can see the different faces! When squished, it makes transparent textures appear 3D!

Face = Side of an object, like a cube's side.

This mesh is already textured for you to use so you don't have to fiddle with anything, (Other than changing the texture for yourself,) unless you absolutely want to. I recommend you keep it full bright and Alpha Masking, but you could easily change the alpha masking amount (anywhere from 1-255) to change just how much of the transparency is shown. I have a logo that has semi-transparent words on it, so I set it to 15.

This mesh shows 1LI, when it fact it's actually .6 land impact!

The real maker of this mesh is Trevor Slithers (01111000110011 Resident), I just uploaded it for him and put it up for "sale."

It even has it's own LOD so if your settings are super low, you only see 2 faces, instead of the 16.

THIS MESH IS FREE. IF YOU PAID FOR IT, YOU WERE RIPPED OFF!!

That said, share it around! Point people back here! Bundle it with things, we don't care! It's free for a reason! TO help everyone~

Useful little thing.

This has some fairly specific purposes, the idea is you very low prim and quickly make a fake 3D effect for mostly graphic design elements. For a store owner its super useful, and works as expected. My preference is to rez it out, set the dimensions to square (it is UV'd to a square all you need to do is change the scale) add my square image and then shrink the whole thing a bit. :)
