Moy's Toys - Customizable Tail
A wonderfully animated and expertly crafted furry/neko tail!
The tail uses just a single script with low sim impact, and with a few mesh objects it looks great doing it!
Change log:
Version 1.1 - Update
Touched up the model some.
Improved updating to resolve weird performance in some sims.
Added "Hide insides", and "Fast updates".
Version 1.0 - Release
To use the tail itself, simply wear it and enjoy!
You can tint it to whatever color you so desire by changing the objects colors using the clients built-in edit tools. You may want to use the HUD to turn off the tails movement to make it a little easier to grab ahold of!
To use the HUD, you just wear it, there's a familiar looking [x] to hide the HUD, a scrollbar to navigate through the different options. Among the various options contain toggles, sliders, and buttons, sliders you click and drag to define the value you want. Toggles you click to toggle a value on or off, and buttons you just simply click to choose that option.
Here is the list of options included in the HUD:
Tail movement enabled - Enables the tails movement, keep in mind a lot of the following options may not affect the tail when it is disabled.
Wag strength - affects how much the tail wags.
Wag speed - affects how fast the tail wags.
Tail lift - affects how much the tail is lowered, or raised.
Tail size - resizes the entire tail.
Tail Fluffiness - Makes the tail either more, or less fluffy.
Tail Length - Adjusts the length of the tail.
Hide Insides - Hides the internal faces.
Faster updates - Makes the tail update slightly faster.
Shape 1-5 - Changes the underlying shape of the tail.
Presets - a few built-in settings to choose from.
If you need any other help, or information about the tail, you can feel free to contact me in-world!
- Smoothly animated!
- Very customizable!
- Perfect for furries and nekos alike!
- Easily create shapes for cats, dogs, rabbits, foxes, wolves, ferrets, and more!
Kinda wish there were more adjustment sliders
like on the kitty tail. There were more position adjuster sliders on that. I'm pretty sure some of them can't be done with the way this tail is styled, but it'd still be nice to have them again somehow.
Beyond that, it's an excellent tail!
amazing
absolutly LOVE this tail!!! so great made.. no errors and so many possibilitys what you can change to make it fit to your ava .. 5 stars from me ^^
Fantastic
The only tail I could find that's appropriate for a wolf with a tail raise feature. Now I can sit on stuff and adjust the degree to which the tail is raised so that it doesn't clip and look weird!
Very nice job.
All around props to Moy Loon on this one, I must admit.
Customization: Able to change each individual section's color (or texture if you want) as you see fit. The HUD allows you to change the tail's length, "fluffiness" (Mouse/Rat tail to superfluff), size, activity (how much it wags and how strong), as well as vertical position. Also various shapes included that "change the underlying shape of the tail" (larger base, larger tail-end, etc.).
Dependability: Works in high lag situations, very little to no breakage between the individual sections.
Stupid Proof: Moy thought ahead and made a backup box with another product in it. So if you're one of those people who sometimes messes up the original copy and deletes it. This is for you.
I am not a cat so I purchased this. However, I have seen Moy's cat tail product in-world and I would give the same review for it as well. Once again, props all-around.
Amazing.
I also have to agree with Aoi about the inner cones. If it was possible which I am not sure how the mesh is made for it to make the lined out fur effect on the inside of the tail it would not show the cones from the back. I am going to give this 5 stars though because it is just friggen amazing. You keep up the epic work.
Best tail on second life
This has to be one of the best non default avatar tails on second life, full of customization, easy to mod and it has one of the smoothest animations. Bought the creators Halloween bone tail set from Chimera before seeing and buying this one. Very happy with the look. Thumbs up to the creator.
