not sure why its not mod tho
Very good sci-fi rifle.
First, I'd like to say that the person who left the 3 star review and seemed hella salty has no idea what the hell they're talking about. While some of what they said is true, like it being no mod and you can't rip scripts or anything, I am pretty sure it says it is no mod right here on the front page of the weapon, it is literally right there. If they can't read, that is not the fault of the maker, check your eyes before you complain about something.
Secondly, it has a nice array of textures and recolors and while you can't super mod it, you can resize it I believe via a resizer and it sounds good, looks good, and it DOES actually have a hold animation while you walk with it, it was probably just the fact they had a very strong animation override effecting their upper torso, and so they didn't see it. My character walks holding this thing in both hands like a rifle, when in motion. Sorry it didn't work for them, but it sounds like even if it did, they'd find a reason to complain.
I am a major SL weapon collector and while there is a lack of modification, attachments for the weapon like scopes etc, or more color options? It is a beautifully made gun, that sounds good, looks good, and functions pretty damn good. It is worth the price and unique and sleek. Be it for RP or combat, it fires about 30 rounds and it feels good firing it. Now, if you have ridiculously large tits or like a AO that is very dominant in animations? That is not the fault of the weapon, that is kinda your fault in choice of what you use WITH the weapon. Maybe not use those things, but don't blame and shit on this masterfully crafted weapon, because of something you decided to do.
With that said? I give this thing 5 stars, I have used it since it came out as well as all the other weapons from this store. My only issues is some animations could use some variation for larger and smaller sized avatars, to swap between different animation sets for a small, medium, and large avatar type.
Honest Criticisms
The gun isn't what I would consider up to five stars. And here's my bullet points for why:
*No Hud - you have to manually type in /1 skins to get to the menu.
*Manual Draw - No hud button for this, and no ability to click on the sheathed weapon to draw it out.
*No Mod - Given you can find Full Mod weaponry out there, and incredible quality, this is a negative. No ability to recolor yourself, nor add its scripts to another gun or vice versa, and no ability to resize. WYSIWYG.
*Animation - It doesn't properly override as you'd expect while walking, there's no hold animation while moving unlike a few of the higher quality guns out there.
A good standard for mesh weapons.
It looks good, has low complexity, plenty of ridiculous skins, the rounds don't OP, and the script time is low.
Dude! The AV complexity is perfect!
As someone who take big care of always having an avatar complexity below 50k, the weapon is perfect! Both weapon attached (holstered and drawn), it only raise the AV Comp by a bit more than 2k! (If you don't know what i'm talking about, chances are that your wonderful AV who cost you an arm and a leg... nobody sees it! you're just a green goo!)
The weapon itself looks dam good! the provided skins are not my taste but they're here and well made. (maybe some more subtle would be welcome)
Script-wise, well it shoots bullets! No overwhelming choices of amo or options here.
Overall good weapon at an honest price.
