Just wow!

I fell in love with this boat 30 minutes into the first demo and bought it! Not only is it the most beautiful sailboat out there by quite some margin, it also sails like a dream (does seem to cross sims easier than others too somehow). It feels a lot more realistic than others too, including one of the major brands (which I also like a lot, but the Machichaco beats them!)
What I had no previous experience with but I'm really starting to like is the GLW! After a little bit of reading it's relatively easy to set up your own personal "event" and make wind and water feel much more dynamic.
It's great that it has "easy modes" too, so even complete newbies could get to grips with it as well.
The only minor gripe I have with the boat is the HUD. That is very basic and might be a bit of a hurdle for new or very casual sailors. Gestures/shortcuts are of course the way to go (and there's a good L50 bundle on the MP already to make it easier)
Animations are good for what's provided, but there aren't many. If you want a boat to impress and seduce people who are not much into sailing, or want to show off at Siren's, this probably isn't the right one for you :P

But for those who enjoy sailing, this whole package takes SL sailing to a completely new level.

I love my Machi. Every Time a Fun to sail with. One Thing i wish i, seperate Main and Jib Sail. Sailing with one Sail would be nice.. The Sounds are amazing the creaking of the wood.

Easy to customise, even adding poses is a piece of cake.
Sailing her is very easy, and the flattening of the sail works good when sailing closer to the wind.
The chart on the navigation desk is not corrected, but that did not stop me from buying her.

I really like the boat, very nice design, textures and details.
And if you just want to sail it you good to go with this boat.

But (and it's a big but!), if you like to modify your boat with poses and animation it's a nightmare.
I really don't understand why the creator choose not to use the full possibilities of AVsitter 2.2.
Instead of this there is mix with own scripts and AVsitter.

It's such a pain to add/modify poses/animations to this boat!!!
Also all the helm sits cannot be rotated and you need to dump every single sit position and copy it into the special text file.
Adding and modification poses/animation are so easy with AVsitter, look at all the bandit boats from the mesh shop.

I was very delighted when I saw there is a new boat creator but this mess with own scrips is a big disappointment.
