Magika - December Hair

It's been awhile since I checked hair from Magika and my first thought with this was simply, "wow". The hair is really well done, it has a GREAT HUD, decent fitting and styling options, and includes all hair colors in a single purchase.

I haven't seen glow and specular used this well on hair before either. The textures and mesh are definitely as good as hair stores like stealthic, doux, etc. but the combination of everything blows those stores away.

My only issue is that the hair is no-mod despite the fact it includes all hair colors. I don't understand what the intent behind that was, but it means you can't fine-tune things like different tint, glow, specular, etc. values on different material faces, or change the color of the hair lights (which only come in black/red or white).

This product is already a step ahead of the other hair stores, but with mod perms I'd be buying from Magika preferentially when looking for hair like I do with Raven Bell.

This is absolutely the best hair I've ever had in Second Life. You don't need a hairbase and it looks flawless. Some hair creators have trouble creating natural looking reds but Magika is spot on. That is so important to those of us who are natural redheads.
