My thoughts
There's never been a way to stupid proof a product for customers. There's always pros and cons. I do see that the HUD itself is a bit slower to load because it just has a lot going on, but again these are features a majority of customers would take and the intended use is to set up-forget it. It doesn't detract from the product itself.
The one draw back I see is that, by locking it down to copy only there's no way for non-traditional heads ie. fantasy, anthro, some anime heads- it makes it harder to fit the hair to without having massive gaps everywhere. Again this is the minority and half the time customers don't even custom fit things properly the way they should. I know it's tough "damned if you do damned if you don't" when it comes to SL.
Still love your products and will continue to use them, and refer people back to you when they ask what hair I use.
