This hair comes with a HUD to recolor the floppy hat. The hat and its little string can be recolored separately, with 8 color options for each (the demo can not be recolored).
The hair is rigged to make sure it works with avatar movement. A rigged mesh item can not be resized nor repositioned. Although the hair is mod it is not possible to edit it, apart from tinting. This is because the hair is rigged.

Mesh items require the use of a mesh enabled viewer The official. Second Life viewers 2 and 3 and some 3rd party viewers (list of 3rd party viewers: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Third_Party_Viewer_Directory) are mesh compatible.

This hat is so pretty. Maitreya used to be my favourite place to buy hair, but I'm a mesh convert now (and I have most of your older ones already!) I really hope this is a sign that you're planning to do more mesh styles! This style is lovely - it comes with a HUD that lets you change the hat from straw to a solid colour, and you can change the band, too. It fits really nicely and moves well with various animations.
