This hair comes with a HUD to recolor the floppy hat. The hat and its little string can be recolored separately, with 8 color options for each.
The hair is rigged to make sure it works with avatar movement. A rigged mesh item can not be resized nor repositioned. Although the hair is mod it is not possible to edit it, apart from tinting. This is because the hair is rigged.

Mesh items require the use of a mesh enabled viewer The official. Second Life viewers 2 and 3 and some 3rd party viewers (list of 3rd party viewers: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Third_Party_Viewer_Directory) are mesh compatible.

Love this floppy straw hat. Be careful when ya buy this, The picture is kinda deceiving. I have brown hair and bought the blonds by accident. Whoops. I saw later they sell this hat with brown hair. Oh well, back to fishing I go.

I just wish the hat band offered white/silver/gray, and primary colours. It would give the item greater versatility in making outfits.
