I wanted a hairdo that wasn't a poof, wouldn't bounce around like it had a mind of it's own and wouldn't make my head look double in volume. So, I chose this look. It works nice with strapless pieces and any classy outfit can work with it. It took a little bit of tweaking to work on my avatar, but having a hairbase (a GOOD one, mind you) or a skin with a similar shade of hairbase, goes a long way to complete the look.
A personal note: One thing I will mention is that updos like these are classy and can make your avatar 'feel' a little older if you're aiming to look in your early to mid twenties. Make sure to pair it up with a young skin and a posh/fashionable outfit to balance it out.
