Mark1 Product Services is pleased to offer our Mark1 Shoutcast Board. The Mark1 Shoutcast Board operates quickly because it is low land impact and more importantly does NOT use notecards to configure access or operation.
The Mark1 Shoutcast Board gives you a working decoration for your club while also providing a means of letting staff easily interact with your parcel music without requiring special privileges.
The Mark1 Shoutcast Board allows you to define text and text background colors, name your venue on the board, and choose one of our many themes to apply to the board. As soon as your shoutcast board changes its theme, that theme is propagated to all other Mark1 Club Equipment you may have in your venue as well.
Our Shoutcast Board is configured via the Mark1 web site, relieving you of the requirement to manage note cards. You don't need special devices to allow others to put notecards into your board. You don't need to worry about complex notecard naming rules and data conventions.
If a DJ or performer has registered one time to our site, then you can add them to the access list for your venue in a matter of seconds. The DJ manages the data for their streams, and if their streams change, you don't need to modify configuration data to support that change. As soon as the DJ logs in, all their pertinent data is downloaded from our web servers. DJs may have multiple stream accounts, and at login, they choose which stream they will be using for that set.
The performer/DJ will maintain their own display picture to show on the board when working.
The performer maintains their own stream names and stream URL data.
The performer chooses which stream to use, or changes streams easily if they must move to a backup stream during a set.
You will know how many listeners that DJ has during the set (to determine if they're drawing a reasonable audience or not).
Finally, when a DJ or Performer logs in to do a set, they are automatically logged in to a DJ or Performer tip jar at the same time, and can receive song requests from the audience via those same tip jars.
Our equipment communicates periodically with our servers to let you know when updates are available. Even after you've deeded a Shoutcast board to the land, you (as the original owner of the board) can easily replace it with our Redeliver option. Again, if you rezzed the board but don't own the land, you can still manage the equipment easily.
