Matching Water Tropical Day Cycle – Marina Bay Waves

When you sit near the ocean and gaze out at the water, you give your brain and senses a rest from overstimulation, get into a mindful state, and trigger insights and ideas that eluded you while you were sitting at your computer.

Ocean water can also inspire you to be more compassionate and connected. While in the restful, contemplative state associated with interacting with water, you are likely to experience feelings of awe, which can increase your capacity for connection and empathy.

In this Tropical Day Cycle, the color of the Linden wavelets matches the color of Marina Bay surfing waves to make a seamless Ocean water.

I replaced the normal bump map to increase chop of the water’s surface and added a little sparkle to the surface of the waves.

Four Wave Directions are included:

- East – Waves which travel from East to West

- West – Waves which travel from West to East

- North - Waves which travel from North to South

- South – Waves which travel from South to North

In this Tropical Day Cycle, there is a Rainbow in the morning & evening sky.

To see Rainbow lighting affects you must turn on “Advanced Lighting Model” & Shadows set to Sun/Moon or Sun/Moon & Projectors in your Graphics Preferences.

How do I use this new environmental system or EEP?
Right click on the EEP Object in your inventory, and click > Apply Only to Myself
You can also edit the EEP further by going to the World tab > Environment > Personal Lighting.

Region owners and parcel owners can copy the Day Cycle into inventory (setting folder is typically used).

If you own or have permissions to change the environment on a parcel of land, you can set custom environmental settings on the World > About Land > Environment tab.
Other visitors to that parcel will share the same environmental experience by default.

Private region owners or estate managers can also set custom environmental settings for their entire region through the World > Region/Estate > Environment tab.
Alt R to open-up Region/Estate Tab. On the Environment Tab, click “Use Inventory” find the “Rainbow Day Cycle” file in the direction you desire to load the new day cycle into your environment.

Make sure to tell your guests to go to the World tab on top of their screen < Environment < Use Shared Environments to experience the EEP Settings you have customized for your region and/or parcel!
