MayaStar is a plugin rigging system for Autodesk Maya. It works with Maya 8.0 through 2022. Much of MayaStar will work with Maya LT but there are limitations since Maya LT is a limited version of Maya. Feel free to contact me first if you are using Maya LT.

1. MyAniMATE LT (Exports .anim animations and much more) NOTE: For Maya 2015 through 2019 Only
2. Scene Export (Exports objects positions and rotation generating an LSL script that is then used in a rezzor to position your objects perfectly sim wide.)

FEATURES:
1. Appearance Editor Sliders and all bones including Collision Bones respond to them as they do in SL.
This mean way easier rigging and weight adjustment process. No more having to upload your mesh to see how it will look.
2. Set of Animations so you can see your mesh move! Male and Female walk, run, sit and more.
3. Interactive Skin Bind now possible.
4. Change effortlessly between Centimeter avatar and Meter size avatar. The avatar in SL is actually 100 times larger than the skeleton and avatar mesh and OBJs provided by Linden Lab.
5. Automatic Mesh Resizing: You can now use MayaStar to resize your mesh clothes to the 5 Standard Sizes for regular rigged mesh clothes or to any custom shape using the Appearance Sliders.
6. Windows and Mac compatible.
7. MayaStar can be used to rig Fitted Mesh or regular rigged mesh.
8. Change to any Custom Bind Pose you want without having to "Detach Skin" of your mesh.

Cathy really knows her stuff. She is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable in her area of expertise. I am so clumsy when it comes to technical stuff and Cathy had the patience to walk me through an entire lesson! I literally needed her to explain everything to me like I never even used a computer before! She did not judge me, she was KIND AND PATIENT with me and spent over two hours helping me. I am far more educated now than I ever was or would've been had I not reached out to her. She really bends over backwards to help and she went the extra mile.That is a rare quality! Thats sad...
I have to admit that the owner really tries to help with tutorials and all but unfortunantely mayastar seems to have few problems that they are common but nobody says anything about it, first of all with the joints, it was really hard to work with them, i had to hide them and show them back again all the time to work.
On every tutorial that i found ( they are not many ) ppl were doing it with ways that they were not always the same cos they were trying to avoid the problem with the joints.
The group for mayastar is just a group with ppl that they use it, nobody there as a support or something and most of the times you never get an answer back.
Update??? as the description says after you get mayastar you get free updates on it. but it seems like this one changed a bit...like the owner told us on the last update of mayastar with a notecard from 5.2 version to 6 version is NOT an update........... so she gave us just a gift card to get mayastar half price (lol) so from 6k that we took the 5.2 version we have to give 4,5k more to get the new 6 version!!! so we pay more to get this version than the ppl that they are gonna buy now the last version.......and guess what, if we stuck with the version that we have already we are not gonna have any more updates cos well now we have a new version of mayastar! (lol)
Never felt the need to post a review on a product i got, but mayastar...i'm really dissapointed. I was even looking if they refund money back but it seems like they dont...

As maya user i was crazy to use that plugin, and after check all features and all the feedbacks, this is increible! and much cheaper the blender one !

Programme utile par contre gros bémol ce marchand ne réponds pas aux questions malgré plusieurs tentative de ma part! Fort heureusement j'ai trouver la solution par moi même.

I am still learning how to use it, but the support in that is amazing. Tutorials, the group everything is there to help us in this process. The UI is rather simple and straight forward, and the tools are very powerful.
