I left out the word "happy" in this banner because I meant it to honor our fallen. Beyond the commercialized sales, beyond the long holiday weekend with barbecues...Memorial Day is a day for family and friends to share in remembrance and to celebrate and honor the lives of loved ones lost in the service of our country.
