Menu Driven Texture Changer & Resizer Script Version 1.3
Details
This box contains 2 sets of scripts that can change size and textures on a single object/prim. Touch the object/prim and a dialog menu will pop up. The package comes with examples and instructions.
What is it?
It is a menu driven texture changer and resizer script.
What does it do?
It changes the textures and the size for each individual prim for linked and non linked prims.
How does it work?
There are three scripts: a top menu and two sub menus. All scripts are placed into the root prim of the object/prim together with the textures. The menu will show the texture names automatically. The scripts cannot refer to the textures UUID-numbers.
What happens if one prim has the texture(s) and scripts in the content tab that other linked prims don’t have?
It shows texture name in the dialog-menu. It only changes the texture on the prim that has the particular texture(s) in the content-tab, but it will also change the size of the linked prims if you choose the resize option.
How many textures can I add?
You can add up to 22 textures.
How many characters in texture names?
Texture names may not exceed 24 characters or else a script error and menu failure will occur. Button names in the menu will be the first 12 characters of the texture names including empty spaces.
On how many faces does the texture change?
The box contains a script for 'one face' and a script for 'all faces'. Drop one of these into the prim-content together with the 'resizer' script and the 'menu' script.
How shall the scripts be resold as a part of my creations?
You can sell your creations including these scripts on the marketplace or inworld. Do not resell the scripts as a part of your creations unless they are tagged as 'no transfer'.
