These classic Wayfarer Nerd Glasses are the result of my first attempt on creating mesh glasses and I'd be happy to learn what You think about them!
The basic variants are plain white, plain black and checkered (black'n'white). However, they ship with copy and modify permissions, so you can just tint the plain white or the checkered version in any color you like! Additionally, there are 12 already tinted versions included in the package:

» blue
» red
» grey
Six distinct texture faces enable you to further personalize the glasses. This means that you can edit the following parts of the glasses individually:
The front, the back, the outer edge of the main part, the inner edge of the main part, the arms and the lenses.
That said, you could easily make sunglasses out of them, put a wooden texture on the frame, mix several colors, apply shininess and so on!
Note that there are no scripts inside the glasses, no HUD, no nothing. I expect - and encourage - you to be able to resize and tint with the default SL editing tools.

Love these. I tried several expensive mesh glasses and could never get a pair to fit. Many arent resizable, so you have to adjust your whole face to fit, but not these!! So simple, yet detailed. You can adjust them and stretch them any way you want or need, and you can make copies to save each different style to your outfits folders, its amazing! And the colors are awesome too!!! Must have for anyone who wants glasses!!!

Mod ... so you can do whatever you need to to make them your own. I wear them with all my outfits. Sometimes big and uber nerdy in checkers, and sometimes narrow and librarianesque. Get these for NINE effing LINDENS! You won't regret it for a moment.
a great cheap product.. but it could be better and worth more if..
Overall its a great product and nearly perfect as is for the price..
But if another version was to be made, and command a higher price.. I might ask for the following changes..
One I curve the front frame of the glasses to fit with the round shape of head better.. glasses do have a curve to them.. so it fit better to a head if they had a curve to them.
Next, the last big change is try to make a lense that looks realistically like glass and some thickness to it. this is ok if you just want to frame the face a little, but I feel like you should add some thickness to the glass giving it a more realistic look..
Also, I give more texture patterns for the frames.. plain set is good, but the checker set feels kinda on the 3d rendered side of things.. which i'm not so interested in using.. I might in the future think of add wood, sparkly plastic, and other materials to the texture library to the mix so you might have something interesting looking that people would want to wear.. and make people do a double take.
Finally, something really out there but maybe a good niche market idea is to add a set with a wide bridge. Furries have large noses, so if you made this fit a big nose creature.. that be a great niche product.
Everything else is great, especially the fact the white frames could be recolored. even at 100L this might be a great product so if you're worried about buying it, don't your 9 L is worth it.
but overall a great product!
