I started playing "The Forest" recently, the first weapon you find is a plane axe, I liked it so much I thought I'd make my own.
The plane axe in the forest is actually modeled after an actual plane axe, I found this out while searching for reference images. It is in truth a very beautiful and elegant tool design that is as pragmatic as it is aesthetically pleasing.
The model in the game is pretty nice, but I thought I could do a little bit better. The geometry is far more optimized, the textures are much higher definition with a lot more subtle details (at least in blender).
Land Impact is 1. Built to precise scale. Uses materials for added realism. Full-perm textures are include inside.

Really can't get any better then this. Definitely a must-have for The Forest fans.
