I'm very proud to announce the release of my new rope slide/zip-line builders HUD. It's a great toy to add another layer of activity to your land or role-play sim. What's more your investment is safe as I provide free updates for ever!
About:
This system will build a zip line/rope slide between two points. It's very easy to set up and uses a simple to use HUD interface to streamline the whole process. Expertly manufactured from low lag mesh with optimized LODs that don't look nasty from a distance. The ride is smooth and doesn't jar like rival products. What's more, you can choose from 8 different styles of start and end points and three shades of rope/wood to easily combine it with your existing landscaping. The only building skills needed is the ability to move objects, everything else is taken care of automatically. The maximum distance of the slide is one region, and the slide cannot cross 'sim' borders.
Permissions are:
SCRIPTS - NO MOD/COPY
HUD - NO MOD/COPY
OBJECTS - COPY/MOD
Prim counts are variable depending on length. For example 125m slide contains 14 prims (all objects).
Prim counts are optimized automatically by scripts which are subsequently automatically removed.

Amazingly good product
Purchased not 5 mins. ago with a spot in mind for it. Set-up was very simple, up and running smooth in about two minutes time, love the item, great decor as well as functional from my cliff home to the distant beach.

This is an incredible product. So easy to set up, excellent build, and the slide animation speed can be adjusted. Its a smooth ride down. You can also set any distance between the start point and the end point, just rez from the HUD the object you want for the start and the object you want for the end and set them as close or as far apart as you like and the rope builds itself for you.
The best zip slide I've seen in SL. Highly recommended!
Ridiculously easy and amazing.
Following the other reviews and my experience with other The Cube Republic products, I went with this zip line. And I'm so glad I did.
Totes worth the price.
Set up is insanely easy. Everything is pretty much taken care of for you, you just move the start and end, then click a button and everything else is done for you.
Multiple options to customize the rope. Also rather realistic feelings on the angles and physics, so long as you purposely don't place them completely unrealistically.
Can't recommend this highly enough. Would give 10 stars.
Wow, just wow
I think, like the previous reviewer, I got the same rope slide and if I am right it is awful indeed. The thing is so damn fiddly to set up. This one however is a dream to use and is so simple to set up. I am having to behave myself and not have them crisscrossing my Sim!

I tried another zipline first and it was sooo complicated and fiddly. I'm pretty good at manipulating prims, rotating, linking, basic stuff. But it was soo much work. This is a dream. Add the hud. Start, pick an anchor type, go to end click end, pick another anchor, press build. Done! Works great and has a fun sound, and you can set it to go slow, medium, or fast. Love it!
