In short, the majority of the items sold in store are priced in such a way profit seems minimal a lot of people will probably tell you that the only things worth buying in the goldtoken store for fishing are the 8x exp rods and Tasty worm Farms, for someone that wants to make sure they are earning a reasonable profit I suggest you buy at least 5-10 of these at least in order to grow tasty worms.

Unfortunately this means you're having to wait months to get what should be available to use at a reasonable grind, but at the current "200 or so" xp needed and only 1xp given per harvest you're either better off just growing the worms and using them for the discounted price or just afk farming these guys lazily scribbling on a calander somewhere until you can finally buy tasty where the real profit comes in.

The reason I rate these so low is the price of each farm and the time the player waits for their worms to grow. PLUS a disclaimer: don't lose your worm farms because apparently this seller will ignore all your tickets and use the excuse of "we're not responsible for return errors" so basically - you lose 1 farm you've lost that initial investment FOREVER.

At current rates, it costs around L$17 per batch for ingredients. Current yield is 100 worms per week. If you sell on the high side L$0.25 per worm (or L$25 per batch of 100), "the company" takes 20% of all worm sales, leaving you with around L$20 per batch. So, you're making L$3 per week (L$20 income minus L$17 cost of ingredients). The best use seems to be using it for your own fishing because you can catch "biowaste" while fishing, thus saving around L$2 per batch in ingredients. Even then, making worms at L$0.15 ea instead of buying them for L$0.25 ea (I'm being generous. The current rates tend to be lower), you can save L$.10 per worm vs buying them outright. So, conclusion... Selling worms nets L$3/wk, meaning it would take you 1096.67 weeks (21.09 years) to start making a return on your investment (L$3290 / L$3 per week). Best case scenario, you 'grow your own' worms for fishing, saving L$10 per week, which means it will take you 329 weeks (6.32 years) for your worm farm to pay for itself (L$3290 / L$10 per week).

I initially purchased this after reading a review that said batches of worms were produced quite quickly. I believe it used to take 48 hours (can't remember exactly). This is no longer the case, it takes a week to produce a batch of 100 Small Worms and gain 1XP on the Small Worms Farm.

Yes, you can sell the worms or use them - but what is not made clear is that you cannot level up to using a Tasty Worms Farm until you reach 256 XP on the Small Worms Farm. So, please do not do what I did, thinking it would be a quick way of earning even more L$ and purchase a Tasty Worms Farm straight away.

I have been farming regularly for many months and even though I lost my farm mysteriously, the XP is only at 89!

I have asked if something can be done to speed up the process - like a potion or something, but nothing is forthcoming, so it will be a good few years at this rate, before I can use the other farm and the reason for the 3 * rating.

Having said that, the support team are always willing to help you if you have issues.

I recently had a SL Monster disaster with my worm farms. They just went *POOF* one day after owning them for over a month. I thought I was OUT $6600L with both farms :/. Thankfully, the kind Fish Hunt Team reached out to me in an efficient matter following up with me regarding my recent trouble. They helped me through ticket support and in-world technical support to RE-DELIVER my small worm farms to me. I was SO RELIEVED that I was able to farm again. Now weekly, I can choose to use or sell the worms through their marketplace to other fishers.

needs detailed instructions. It's so general. I shouldn't need to join a support group to ask questions or go to a web page that has even less information. A note card with detailed instructions along with the product should be provided. How much water buy, how much bio-waste to buy, number statistics, experience levels none of that is shown anywhere.

This is a great way to start a worm empire,in combination with the pro rod the cost to produce is lowered. Good way to get worms for personal use.
