You can wear this baby just like any other avatar attachment, it's fully scripted to snap open and closed just like the real thing, replete with sound effects; a touch to the blade toggles the action, just don't forget to watch your fingers ;)

I changed from touch to listen event which is much easier than clicking on the little object.

Really looks and works great and resizable (thank you!). I commend your realism in the look and in making it so one must actually touch the button to release the blade - unfortunately, that means it's a little tricky to trigger if your avatar is holding the handle and moving in any way. Totally worth it though - best I've seen.
