Back to the mystical - I wanted to create a bracelet I have been wearing non-stop for years. An Elephant Hair Bracelet. I also made up a matching ring. This one is in Gold for a warm mellow look.
According to a 1200-year-old legend, it is believed that the wearer of such a bracelet would be protected from illness and good health preserved. The two knots on this bracelet respectively represent the earth (fertility and ancestors) and nature (forces and spirits.) The strands symbolize the yearly seasons. Moving the knots along the strands is thought to create a balance and blend between earth and nature, thus enabling the wearer to be in sync with natures rhythms.
