The microphone listens to your local chat. When you speak in local it holds the microphone in front of your face and when you finish your sentence it holds the microphone in front of the person or public standing in front of you.
After the conversation is finished type "/975 stop" without the brackets in local and your arm is relaxing again.
It comes with a funny "Press" badge, where you can drag your own picture in. (First make a copy of it, just in case you drop it by accident on the whole badge.)
