This is a parody/appreciation decoration toy without real games.
It comes with a few game cards you can rez or click to change "games" which plays a 10 second loop animation on the screen. Touch the screen to turn it off.
If you can not rez but want to change games in handheld mode you can wear a game card to load the game.
Create own games with the included full-perm script. (Just edit one line.)
The console is mod to change colors etc. but the script does not handle new links and contents. It contains two additional controllers for temporary attachments in tabletop mode with fixed colors.
The box also includes 3 alternative handheld animations for boys and girls. Just delete the "handheld" animation in the console, drop in an alternative and reattach.
Animations use the highest officially supported priority (5 at the time of writing). Feel free to use a custom one, the Switchi is mod.
##### FAQ #####
→ Some AOs (esp. Bento) use too high priorities or their scripts cancel other animations.
→ Kemono: The included alternative female animation was requested by a Kemono owner and we tweaked it to work with the non-standard Kemono shoulder deformations and head. But this is no Kemono product and I do not own or plan to support Kemono or other custom joint avatars.
→ As mentioned above, animations are priority 5 which is the maximum officially supported priority: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Animation_Priority
Higher priorities are possible in SL but not explicitly guaranteed to work. If you decide to make or use AOs that ignore the community defined standards as outlined in the wiki page above you will most likely run into issues. I want it to keep working even if LL changes their animation system in the future.
I realize with the introduction of Bento a lot of AO creators started using higher priorities (I suspect out of laziness/to avoid complaining) so contact your AO maker if you have AO issues.
TL;DR I will not support other deliberately incompatible/hacky products.

Great in Concept, But Useless With Low Priority Animations
While the model itself is nice, and I like how easy it is to switch the screen up with cartridges, that is about all this has to offer. It would probably be nice to have set up in your house, but as a handheld it just doesn't work. Most of the handheld animations don't work well to begin with, but also they are low priority. I can't even sit anywhere to use it in handheld version. Also, you have to buy and mod to get the kickstand off the back, even if the mod is free. Sad because it's so cute, but just not functional for what I was wanting.
Looks nice but...
It definitely looks nice but the anims basically do not work correctly almost ever. If you want a prop, it's fine, if you expect to hold it and walk around or sit and play, it's probably going to let you down.
Good handheld with nice animations
As others have said it does look good and the animations are nice when they work.
BUT I have another switch as well that has Priority 5 for the animation and it works just fine no matter the AO I am using. May be best to release a Priority 6 version.
Is it really Priority 5?
So I got this thinking that the Priority 5 animations would override my Priority 3 AO, or any kind of furniture sits, but apparently it doesn't. I legit can't do anything with the animations, even though the animations contained in the Switchi says "Priority 5." It looks like I'm not the only one with these problems, either.
could be better
I can't sit down with it or even turn on my ao without it messing up the animation
great as a standing ptop
this works really well in my Macro loft scene as a standing prop though it needs a dock to be honest
