=========================================
This tool is for projecting a slideshow images onto an avatar body, this will help create more dynamic effects with video / photography tools like Reshade.
This script is open source, as is the included mesh. The script has been specifically written for the included mesh, as it uses hidden faces to serve as a image preloader.
YOU must create the image sequence on your own. Then you drop them into the inventory of the projector, and it will play them in ALHPABETICAL order, when you click on/off.
It is possible to find Video stock and using a video editor, you could save them as a image sequence for upload to SL.
I would suggest a frame rate of 10-15 fps to help keep your upload cost low, and you can set the projector speed to that.
You may change the parameters of the light and speed of the projector by clicking the Projector.
HOW TO USE:
For best results, use in a low lag area with not much rezed. despite the preloader, you may get blurry textures. Clearing cache might help if its stubborn.
1) Edit the projector, with the build tool. In the object inventory, you MUST drag your images into the projector inventory.
- They MUST have copy permissions or it will error out.
- The script will play the images in ALPHABETICAL order of the texture names. You will need to rename the textures to get the desired order. like "A1,A2,A3" or "a,b,c" or "1,2,3"...etc
2) Click on the projector. Click on/off to begin playing the image sequence. if you jsut have 1 image loaded, it will be static.
- you may adjust the parameters of the lighting (light color is a future update ) to suit your scene. It may not be possible to adjust it on the build level due to script control over the light.
- A easy to to use, menu driven projector
- Upload images to create a slideshow that plays at speed
- Enhance your photography by harnessing the ALM Projector
