Moonbeast HUD

ATTENTION! THIS ITEM REQUIRES AN RLV ENABLED VIEWER. That means if you're still using the official LL viewer and are unwilling to change to a different one, you shouldn't buy this. As far as I know every other viewer, with the exception of text only ones, supports RLV, but please check your viewers documentation if you don't know.

The Moonbeast HUD was made by a lycan for lycans. (and now you know why the moon is in the background on my logo). This HUD does one thing: it facilitates easy transformation to your were form and back again.

The HUD does require an RLV capable client, so if you're using the LL viewer then I'm sorry but you won't be able to use this. It's simply not possible to do what this HUD does any other way that I know of. As long as you're not on a mobile client, Radegast, or the LL viewer you're probably find, but please make sure before you purchase the HUD.

SETUP

Step 1: Preparing RLV
If it's not already turned on in your viewer, turn on RLV. The exact process varies from viewer to veiwer. In Firestorm, you open your preferences dialog under Avatar, click the Firestorm tab, and check Allow Remote Scripted Viewer Controls (RLVa).

Next, set up your RLV outfits. Create a folder in your inventory called #RLV (if it doesn't already exist). Create a folder for each form/outfit under this folder, and copy your outfits (you DO have your lycan form saved as an outfit, right?) into these folders. You may have to go to the originals and copy them as links. that's alright.

Step 2: Configure the HUD
First off, wear your HUD. By default it attaches to the Center 2 HUD point and is off to the left (why? Because I have too many HUDs for my own good :-P). Feel free to move it. It doesn't care where it lives on your screen (though do be aware of the position of any HUDs that your avi may need). Right click on the hud and edit it. Go to the Content tab and open the ShapechangeConfig notecard.

The HUD uses this notecard to determine which outfits are for humans and which ones are lycan. It's a very simple list. Remember those folders in your #RLV folder? copy their names into the notecard, seperated by commas. The first line is for human outfits and the second is for lycan forms.

As an example, here's what my config card looks like:

If you want to be able to shift instantly with a touch on the HUD, only put one of each (or one of one or the other). If you have more than one outfit for a given form you will be presented with a dialog to choose one when you press the button.
