PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Notecard Filing System (NFS) is a powerful and flexible tool designed for both personal and group use, capable of storing and managing large quantities of notecards with ease.
The System Manager allows you to customize user access with precision. Add individual users by name and set permissions to view, add, or remove files. Similarly, you can grant access to one or more groups by entering their UUID and defining permissions for viewing, adding, or removing files. Anyone wearing an authorized group tag (who isn’t already listed as an individual user) will have access based on the group’s defined permissions.
A standout feature is the "File Shortcodes" system, which enables you to categorize files or lock them with a password that must be validated before delivery. Authorized users can view all files, search by file name or category (set via shortcode), and choose to deliver or remove files (if permitted).
Accidentally deleted files can be recovered by the owner using a dedicated directory for deleted files, which only the owner can access or clear. Additionally, the system includes a backup feature that creates a timestamped object containing a complete copy of all current files, which can be easily stored in your inventory.

I am so impressed with the careful scripting evident in this filing system. It's a very clever product and already I would be lost without it. I had a question about modifying it and the creator was quick to respond, very friendly and knowledgeable, too. So great!
I'm using this cabinet plus the drop-box add on to organize a very busy RP group. Applicants can leave their information in our mailbox and all of our mentors can then view those forms and update them as necessary.
In another instance, I'm using one to keep member records. The category feature is fantastic - it's so amazing to be able to call up everyone from a certain group at once. (I use the notecard titles to tag files, too. It gives me a few ways to search, then.)
It wasn't hard to set up and it's simple enough that I didn't have to spend a long time showing anyone else how to use it, either, which I greatly appreciate. It's brilliant, truly! Thank you again, Johnny!

this is the best system I have used ty for making it so user friendly.
A wondrous filing cabinet....
As close to the operation of a real filing cabinet as I could imagine in SL. In fact, closer, I don't imagine scripts and couldn't have imagined this solution. Ingenious, and remarkably intuitive. We use it to share files inworld, simple enough to use quickly, but with all the functionality to be able to share and amend files (notecards) with a select group of keyholders. A joy to own :)
The product and the creator could not be better
This is probably one of the best products I have ever bought on SL. For sure its the best customer service, Johnny was great, he helped me promptly and took care of all my concerns,, We are using it not to process our members notecards and its a perfect fit for what we need,, Highly recommend this product.
Outstanding System and Even Better Customer Service
I spoke with the creator via his support account before purchase, and when I discovered that the system didn't quite fulfill a need I had, the creator issued an update within 24 hours. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a filing system, especially since it's copiable! I searched all over to find one that met my needs, and to find one this outstanding and this well-supported as well as a bargain price .. I'd give it more stars if this would let me.
